Since I couldn't post in a while, I decided to talk about everything we are going through, given that everyone has embraced the situation as it is, and is staying at home to make the best out of it.

I have noticed several posts saying that they honestly can't remember what they used to talk about before the Chinese Virus - (at least that's what Trump said) And I spiraled back into Kobe's death, Australia's fire scandal, the Megxit and the volcano eruptions - 2020 has so far been a game of minesweeper and we have been stepping on a mine every single time, this is why they decided to lock-down everything so we would avoid stepping on a mine before it all blows up.

 The worst part of this isn't what you think it is, it's panicking unnecessarily, forget panic buying and filling up inventory, I'm talking about the circulation of false information which takes up the form of anonymous WhatsApp threads and posts that almost seem believable. There's nothing worse than not knowing what's right and wrong, specially when it comes to over thinkers- they spiral down every information which only leads to one conclusion : world's end.

What we don't see///

Some of the most beautiful cities have locked them selves up, tourism has gone for a six. Some of the recovered had gotten infected again. Nearly 500 in Sri Lanka got arrested for not adhering to the curfew. (side comment - Are you all trying to be rebellious right NOW out of all the times, seriously?) It was heartbreaking to see so many people leaving their loved ones to help those who they don't even know.

 I've also been thinking that - titles ? they don't mean anything. We have been holding on to titles like lives depended on it -- CEO's, Managers and Accountants are enjoying house arrests while the realest people out there on the streets sacrificing their lives for us, are janitors, nurses and farmers, police officers. How many farmers do you think that committed suicide because they couldn't get the right price ? or couldn't feed their families? How ironic is that today we are willing to pay any price for it huh? the Earth have been stripped bare and we have been humbled. So, grip your fears and quit worrying about your empty Instagram for we have been LEVELED.

 What a year to be alive.

I've been keeping this under drafts for 3 months. I've been typing, deleting, almost sad about how I'm unable to get this out to the public before the story dies.  In reality, every story dies.   I have had a long break for writing. I took no or little effort to reflect on most things that's happening because of two reasons. One is, I have simply lost count on incidences. Do not take the internet more seriously than racism.

Thanks to the continuous scrolling, I came across an interesting post. Must say that this was a total coincidence given that the post was at least a month or so old.  It was shared by one of my friends on Facebook and all due credits should go to him for actually stepping up, confronting this woman and posting this on his feed to let us remind about what rubbish we have to surround ourselves on social media. Even though I have blurred the names in the comments section of the above screen shot, can we for a second silently acknowledge who the antagonist here is?  I am not defending any of the religions here. Are ya ready kids?

Believe me when I say,,, Spongebob : 'What if I break your trust someday? Patrick : Trusting you is my decision, proving me wrong is your choice.' Surface There is something about trust. It's not what everyone defines it as. In fact it has no specific meaning. 'Trust' is a prodigious word, to us it meant keeping secrets, guarding one another, defending somebody when they do wrong what not. That's basically 'trust' in a nutshell when we were kids; but correct me if I'm wrong, I feel like there's a vast meaning behind, and we are just touching the surface of an ice-burg that has more depth.  Digging deep, I understood that trust began with family, passed on to those who you're close with, friends, even strangers who are overly extroverted.
